What the jury said
“CornPack” is made from corn semolina, a residual material that is not authorised for use in the food industry, and is therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional packaging solutions such as polystyrene that are produced using fossil fuels.
The material is pressure, breakage and impact resistant and also has insulating properties. It can be disposed of in the organic waste bin or in household compost.
100% compostable, 0% microplastics, 0% food and land competition.
