The “FreshBag” packaging solution stood out for the jury as a truly innovative alternative to conventional transport cooler bags made of an aluminium/plastic composite. What’s new about the “FreshBag” solution is that all materials used in it are of renewable origin (paper/cotton), making it fully recyclable, and that the bag also gives significantly better cooling than conventional transport cooler bags (made of an aluminium/plastic composite). The more effective cooling effect was presented by an elaborate series of measurements and was well documented. Likewise, it offers multiple usage options due to the very good bag stability and elaborate cotton seams. “FreshBag” thus ensures sustainability, resource conservation and a high-quality appearance.
