This modified form of cigarette packaging can counter the problem of the environmental impact of discarded cigarette butts. Cigarette butts can be collected in an extra pull-out compartment when on the move to be disposed of later at home. A slipcover for conventional cigarette packs was developed under the motto “A little change can make a big difference”, allowing the existing distribution channels to be retained.
