Jury evaluation:
The submission was a pop-art theme packaging for a top cosmetics ampoule series. As well as its very coherent design and extremely convenient construction made of FSC cardboard, the jury was particularly impressed with the very appealing visual and glossy-varnish tactile relief finish. This was applied by digital printing together with a silver relief finish, saving on the need for hot foil printing or separate gloss varnish machine steps. This also saves on embossing stamps and coating plates and increases flexibility. All in all, a visually very appealing packaging range with an outstanding digital print finish.
