Industrial manufacturers can work from the blank to the finished product in a single standard and throughout the entire manufacturing process using these new, innovative reusable containers/workpiece carrier systems. This completely avoids the need for reloading. The systems are modular and can be customised, and therefore usable in a wide range of industries.
The jury praised the successful holistic approach to the workpiece carrier system this innovation presented.
The carrier system’s modal structure makes it highly customisable to the requirements of the components and production processes. The process connection by adapting the standard containers (small load carriers) as load carriers with the carrier system as inner packaging or as a self-supporting workpiece carrier starts before production and continues via the end-of-line point to logistics. The modular configuration allows manufacturers in all industries to develop sustainable transport systems from more than 1,000 standard components.
