dvi Packaging Academy launches certified Web-Based Training
As skills shortages intensify and professional standards continue to rise, high-quality education and professional development are becoming increasingly important — for both companies and individual career. In response, the Packaging Academy of the German Packaging Institute (dvi) is expanding its portfolio through a partnership with Clemson University (USA) to offer the modular online programme "Packaging School". This certified web-based training is designed for both newcomers and experienced professionals looking to deepen or expand their expertise. The eleven English-language modules can be booked individually or as a complete programme and offer flexible access in terms of time and location — with savings of up to 25 per cent.
The Packaging School covers a broad range of topics — from packaging fundamentals and material-specific modules to areas such as design, innovation, printing, distribution, sustainability, regulatory requirements, automation and machinery. Participants who complete the full programme can earn a Certificate of Packaging Science through an additional final module.
Modern knowledge delivery through multimedia and self-paced learning
"Thanks to its modular structure, the Packaging School offers a high-quality learning opportunity for newcomers, career changers and specialists alike," explains dvi Managing Director Natalie Brandenburg. "Each module takes four to eight hours to complete and can be accessed flexibly for one year from the date of booking – whether on a desktop, tablet or smartphone. The content is clearly structured and visually engaging. To ensure effective knowledge transfer and progress tracking, the courses combine videos, PDFs, interactive workbooks and multimedia presentations."
Up to 25% savings through exclusive partnership
"Our exclusive partnership enables us to offer up to 25 per cent savings compared to the standard Packaging School pricing," says Brandenburg. "This allows us to make professional development accessible to a broader audience – whether they are building their expertise from the ground up or selectively deepening their knowledge. Delivering the courses in English also supports the development of technical English skills."
