Paper is not always a viable substitute for plastics when it comes to FMCG packaging. However, P&G’s submission demonstrates that paper with minimised printing and without plastic coatings can definitely be more suitable for many hygiene products. Paper is a truly sustainable alternative here that can be easily recycled in the paper recyclables stream!
