Thermoformed tablet/capsule blisters are traditionally sealed with aluminium foil. This material mix significantly impedes recyclability. The single-material design of blister and sealing foil made of PP makes the blister completely recyclable. The new PP sealing film retains the functionality (opening) of the previous aluminium sealing film. A very impressive packaging system and a big step towards more sustainability.
