What the jury said:
Recyda has added an important feature to its platform which integrates different international licensing fees. This makes it possible to transparently show costs for individual packaging or entire packaging ranges and use the platform to carry out any eco-refinements needed.
Packaging variants can be compared against each other to select the most cost-effective and recyclable option. The analysis tool takes into account and transparently shows more than 20 country-specific EPR rates in Europe, including plastic taxes. This allows the packaging design to be optimised in terms of eco-refinements.
The Recyda EPR platform helps turn the notion of financially incentivising recyclable packaging solutions into reality, contributing to the circular economy of packaging.
