This impressive 2-part tube was designed by Albéa with sustainability in mind. The tube wall thickness was reduced to a minimum, resulting in a weight saving of about 30%. In addition, the improvements to the closure cap achieved a weight reduction of approx. 80% compared to a comparable standard closure. The combined measures lead to a total weight saving of approx. 55%. The use of PE mono-material makes the tube fully recyclable with a 42% total PCR content.
