What the jury said
Older people, in particular those with visual impairments, need eye drops for preventive treatment of their conditions. This target group is often faced with significant challenges when using the packaging, especially where they have limited motor skills.
Until now, for example, extracting the eye drops fluid by squeezing the product packaging has often taken a great deal of force, making it difficult to dose and accurately apply the product.
This award-winning submission solved the all-too-familiar problem by including innovative bellows at the bottom of the bottle.
The jury was impressed by how well the packaging functions. Dosing is made very simple and age-appropriate with a uniform droplet size.
