Smallest batch sizes, high containment for effective product and operator protection and maximum reproducibility in the growth market of highly effective ready-to-use products, e.g., for cancer therapy and research – the combination of these pose a challenging requirement profile for pharmaceutical machine manufacturing. Syntegon’s excellent solution with its compact design, high format flexibility with minimal operator intervention was very impressive. This means increased reproducibility, process monitoring and documentation in the course of the increased degree of automation and, last but not least, reduces the potential for errors as well as very expensive downtimes for format changes, sterilisation or malfunctions.
