The annual Dresden Packaging Conference, which takes place at the beginning of December, brings together participants from industry, science and research as well as students from relevant disciplines. The conference sees itself as a network meeting point and dialogue platform for core topics and innovations relating to packaging. This includes new packaging developments, requirements, concepts and knowledge concerning materials, functionality, knowledge and innovation management, sustainability and recycling. The Dresden Packaging Conference is organised by the German Packaging Institute (dvi) in cooperation with the Scientific Society for Conveyor Technology and Packaging (WGFV).
