Two companies have joined forces to devise a solution for a recyclable blister solution in PET mono material and its associated challenges. The material in mono PET not only runs on existing lines with no loss of output, it also eliminates use of aluminium and PVC. A distinctive feature of this completely transparent blister is it retains the necessary peel/push capability. This solution picked out by the jury meets the high requirements of pharmaceutical products and those of a certified recycling stream with good barrier properties.
