According to the information provided, the innovative laminating system works with a co-extruded plastic layer which is activated by a corona pre-treatment (an electrical-chemical process) in fractions of a second. This not only replaces the classic drying process, but also the maturing time of at least 2 days. The system can be made much more compact and no longer deals with solvent and solvent residues.
