What the jury said:
William Grant & Sons wanted to use this new design language to set itself apart from the currently very well-known elliptical displays. This display conveys the product with its presentation in an outstanding form. The staggered arrangement of the functional levels creates an interesting 3D effect. The high upright poster section is very visible and conveys the brand message into the market. The display is very simple to construct and can be done by the manufacturer in just a few steps. The contour-cut elements are individually interchangeable depending on the product, so the display can be adapted to different products with an individual print image and interchangeable contour elements.
The reduced number of products is intended to emphasise the value of the products, making the display a real eye-catcher at the point of sale.
