Die Verpackung für das Klimagerät KaDius ist Transportschutz, Montageschutz und Montagehilfe in einem. Die Wellpapp-Verpackung verzichtet komplett auf den Einsatz von Kunststoff-Elementen und verfügt über eine aufgedruckte Montageanleitung, die vom Installateur gleichzeitig als Montagehilfe für die Deckenbefestigung genutzt werden kann. Über einen QR-Code auf dem Verpackungsdeckel kann der Installateur das Video als Montagehilfe aufrufen.
Die Besonderheit der Lösung besteht darin, dass das Gerät in der Verpackung an der Decke montiert wird, um Beschädigungen während des Fixierens zu verhindern. Erst danach werden die verbliebenen Verpackungselemente abgenommen. Die Verpackung ist einfach und ohne Hilfsmittel zu konfektionieren und kann auf der Baustelle ohne Werkzeug geöffnet werden.

The KaDius air conditioning unit packaging serves as transport protection, installation protection and an installation aid all in one. The corrugated cardboard packaging completely avoids the use of plastic components and features printed assembly instructions that the installer can also use as an assembly aid for ceiling mounting. The installer can also access a video as an assembly aid via a QR code on the packaging lid.
The unique feature of this solution is that the unit is mounted on the ceiling whilst still in its packaging to prevent damage during installation. Only then are the remaining packaging elements removed. The packaging is simple to assemble with no extra tools needed and can be opened on site free of tools.
