Die Jury überzeugte das unter optimierten Bedingungen erreichbare Umformverhältnis von bis zu 1,5. Dies führt zu bemerkenswerten, prototypischen, faserbasierten Lösungen aus dem trockenen Zustand. Mit einem derartigen Umformverhältnis ist die Herstellung marktüblicher Behältnisse über flache Schalen hinaus auch in Papier realisierbar. Besonders anerkennenswert ist die geleistete und noch zu erwartende Entwicklungsarbeit in der verwendeten Maschinentechnik und der Beitrag zu zukünftigen nachhaltigen Verpackungslösungen.

What the jury said:
The jury was impressed by the deformation ratio of up to 1.5 that can be achieved under optimised conditions. The result is remarkable, prototypical, fibre-based solutions from the dry state. This level of deformation ratio makes the production of commercially available containers feasible in paper as well as flat trays. The development work already carried out and yet to come in the machine technology used and the contribution to future sustainable packaging solutions are particularly commendable.
